located Dave Bartelds, who lives in Washington state. I
received a letter from him hinting that he might have
Alzheimer's. His address is David H. Bartelds, 32218 3rd
Ave., Black Diamond, WA 98010-9605. His serial
number is RA 19461151.
Harry Saul, Nolensville, TN
DOB 9-24-32, DOD Oct. 1978.
Harry was Chaplain's Assistant at HQ Co.
Wilbert Hackney, Mountain City, TN
DOB 8-8-30, DOD May, 1977.I believe Wilbert was the
chapel organist.
Served with the 352nd from October 1952 to September 1953
and was assigned to Commonwealth Detachment and looking
for anyone who served during that time frame with at the
Commonwealth detachment. The only names I remember
clearly are: the two dogs (Bill and Garbage); Maxie from
Massachusetts; and Bill(dont recall last name) with whom I
played poker and who promised to send me an Aussie

Bill Volenick, a 1267/1320 MOS from ALS

304th Comm Recon Bn in the summer of
1954. Of particular interest is Jerry
Cashman. Also wondering if anyone
knows the whereabouts of Dewey
Haggard who served with me at the 501st
Group Hq in the winter of 1954-55.
