Communicator.

Election of Officers: Mr. Koehler presented the current four Officers for re-election to a two-year term. Nominations from
the floor were called for and none were made, so nominations were closed.       It was moved, seconded and carried to
re-elect Allen Koehler for President, Sandy Helfand for Vice President, Ed Collins for Secretary, and Charles
Knappenberger for Treasurer.  Election of two Directors: Both Directors Paul Cabnet and Donald Marsh were nominated

Directors, and for his exemplary service as Editor of The Communicator.

Web site report: Director Bob Rudolph reported on current www.asakorea.org web site activities and urged members to
participate in its expansion by submitting materials which the membership may find of interest.  He also urged members to
get into the habit of frequently checking the web site for new information.

NEW BUSINESS

Location of 2008 Reunion: President Koehler reported that contrary to an earlier decision, the Board now supports
Charlotte, NC as the site for the 2008 Reunion, over Olympia, Washington, based upon the prevalent feeling that that we
will draw a better attendance east of the Mississippi River where most of the members reside.  Following  discussion, it
was: Moved, second and carried to leave the decision in the hands of the Board of Directors, with the location to be
announced in the November Communicator newsletter.
