The author Edward Sandford Martin wrote, "Thanksgiving Day comes, by statute, once a year; to the honest man, it comes as frequently as the heart of gratitude will allow."
I pray we all 'allow' ourselves to always be grateful unto the Creator God for all the blessings and gifts He has bestowed upon us.

Blessed are You, O lord our God, King of the universe, Who gives us the commandment to love one another as You love us.

In these days of national Thanksgiving, let us in good faith remember the joy of hearing Your Word made flesh in Your Son, Jesus the Christ of God.

Help us to be more mindful of our spiritual inheritance and of Your gifts of faith, hope, love and family.
We rejoice that You have brought us together as a 'band of brothers' to serve as comrades in The Army Security Agency, and, especially, of our reunion organization, ASA Korea, where old friends can share past memories, and new comrades are welcomed into our fraternity (as our constitution states) of duty to God, Country and community.

We pray for all people who strive to bring harmony among nations for a lasting peace and harmony as we minister to all 'who is brother and sister'.

Keep us ever aware of others in need that we may rejoice together in knowing that "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord".

As together we give thanks to You, O God, may we rejoice in the words from Psalm 67, "May God be merciful to us and bless us, show us the light of His countenance, and come to us. Let Your ways be known upon earth, Your saving health among all nations. Let the peoples praise You, O God, let all the peoples praise You. Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for You judge the peoples with equity and guide all the nations upon earth. Let the peoples praise You, O God, let all the peoples praise You...May God give us His blessing, and may all the ends of the earth stand in awe of Him." Amen.

The Board of Directors of ASA Korea pray all of you and your families enjoyed a happy and jouous Thanksgiving, 2007.

May the Lord bless and keep all of you in true faith and comradeship. Amen and Amen.
